The growth in the number of sessions logged and the total time spent on the water is nothing short of remarkable. With nearly 40,000 sessions recorded in 2024, you’ve taken full advantage of your Atlases to maximize your time on the water. That’s a 68% increase in sessions compared to 2023!

Total Distance Covered

Sailors covered an additional 279,231 km this year, equivalent to more than 7 trips around the Earth. While the average session distance decreased slightly (likely due to shorter, more frequent sessions), the overall growth reflects the expanding reach and use of Vakaros technology.

Total Races Started

The 44,527 races started in 2024 highlights the Atlas’s continued importance in competitive sailing. That’s an impressive 40% increase over last year, reinforcing the Atlas’s role as a trusted companion on race days.

Global Highlights

In 2024, sessions were recorded across every continent (Antarctica excluded). From challenging ocean crossings to high-stakes regattas, the Vakaros community is thriving in diverse conditions worldwide.

While some of the most active regions include both coastal and inland sailing hotspots, this year has shown us that passion for sailing knows no boundaries. The Atlas has proven its value in environments ranging from calm, strategic waters to demanding, unpredictable seas.
