Warranty

Vakaros Atlas 2 and subsequent products and accessories are warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for two years from the original date of purchase. This Limited Warranty is non-transferable and will only apply to the original purchaser for new devices purchased from Vakaros or an authorized Vakaros reseller. Within this period, Vakaros will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any devices that fail in normal use. Such repairs or replacements will be made at no charge to the customer, provided that the customer shall be responsible for any transportation cost. This Limited Warranty does not apply to: (1)cosmetic damage - such as scratches, nicks, and dents, (2)damage caused by accident - including being incorrectly mounted, misuse, water, flood, fire, or other acts of nature or external causes, (3)damage to the product from any attempt to modify or alter the device out of normal set up or use, (4)damage to the screen due to dropping from any height, boat placement, being struck by any person or object, or caused by line or other components rubbing across the surface of the product, (5)product failures due to shipping damage, accident, abuse or misuse, improper storage, or loss.

This Limited Warranty also does not apply to, and Vakaros is not responsible for, any degradation in performance resulting from normal wear and tear use. The warranty policy does not apply if Vakaros was not notified by the consumer of the alleged defect or malfunction of the product within the applicable warranty period.

If during the warranty period you submit a claim for warranty service in accordance with this Limited Warranty, Vakaros will, at its discretion: (1)repair the device using new or used parts that meets Vakaros’ quality standards, (2)replace the device with a new device or a Vakaros Recertified device that meets Vakaros’ quality standards.

Before seeking warranty service, please access and review the online help resources available on https://vakaros.com/pages/user-resources . If your device is still not functioning properly after making use of these resources, contact our Support Team at support@vakaros.com to begin and obtain warranty service.

Register your device within 30 days of purchase. Registration is completed via the Connect app. This will allow for a quicker warranty service. Failure to register your device can result in delays to the warranty process or denial of warranty claim.

 

Vakaros RMA Procedure

To request warranty service, please reach out to support@vakaros.com. Once warranty service has been requested, you will be required to fill out an RMA form. Once the form is completed the team will provide a unique RMA number which will be sent to you via email. The product must be shipped to Vakaros with proof of purchase and the RMA number marked in plain view on the package. Return shipping address will be provided by Vakaros at the time of RMA. If the RMA is not included on the package, Vakaros reserves the right to return the package to the sender. Failure to complete the form fully or provide insufficient or missing information will delay the processing of the claim.

In the event that warranty service is requested, the consumer will return the device to the specified address for diagnostics to determine whether Vakaros will repair and return, or provide the replacement of, said device. This process can take up to 14 business days upon receipt of the device at the specified return address.

 

Repair

For products outside of the warranty we offer a paid repair option. If you return your Vakaros product to us, we will diagnose and repair your product if possible. The diagnostics are a flat $75 and repair service is $100 per hour. If you move forward with a repair the diagnostic charge will go towards the service cost or replacement cost if repair is not possible. In the case of repairs, the buyer is responsible for all shipping expenses. These expenses are not refundable.

Returns and Refunds

Our return policy lasts for 30 days. If 30 days have passed since the date of purchase, we are unable to offer you a refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must be in its original packaging and include a receipt or proof of purchase.

Restocking fees are as follows:

Atlas 2- $200 

Atlas Edge- $100

Accessories- $25

Customers are responsible for shipping costs.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer or shipping fulfillment center you may have received your item from. A return address will be provided to you once the return process has been started.

We reserve the right to offer a partial refund if the item is found to be outside of its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

If you are shipping an item over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for items lost or misplaced by couriers.

Refunds 

If applicable, a refund will be issued once your return is received and inspected. We will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and whether your refund has been approved or rejected due to any of the reasons listed above.

If your refund has been approved, we will process your refund to the card the purchase was made with. Refunds will take 7-10 business days depending on your banking or financial institution. If you have still not received your refund, please reach out to your banking or financial institution to inquire on its status.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, we will not offer refunds on sale items.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your product to reach you, may vary.
