THE ELEVENTH EDITION OF FOILING WEEK

We are thrilled to have returned to Foiling Week, the prestigious all-foiling classes event, organized on Lake Garda every year since 2014. In our second edition as a Partner of We Are Foiling, we were able to roll out RaceSense for a variety of classes, activate with an amazing community of sailors, and learn so much about the foiling industry.

On-site, we showcased our latest addition to the Atlas family, the Atlas Edge. Designed to complement our flagship Atlas 2, the Edge boasts numerous functions, making it the perfect fit not only for dinghies and foiling classes but also for any kind of board sport. It stands out as the best product in the industry in terms of quality and price, and includes full support for RaceSense.. Boardsports star Aidan Nicholas received his Atlas Edge at Foiling Week. 

"I am looking forward to testing this unit and the bracket on my board. I just received both from the Vakaros team. I am also looking forward to racing in Hawaii at the World Championship in a couple of weeks-” said Nicholas.

Being onsite at Foiling Week has been an incredible opportunity for us to talk with customers and showcase our product while enjoying the best view over the Sailing Mecca, Lake Garda. We also brought back RaceSense and successfully ran it for four classes: the BirdyFish, Waszp, Switch OneDesign, and ETF26, which has used our technology for the second year in a row.

SailGP New Zealand legend Liv Mackay said: "We were very fortunate to have RaceSense with us this year. It worked really well. I think all the fleet really enjoyed it. It was so good to have the timing into the starts and all the software there and the data debrief after racing, which I think is a real step forward. I think there's a big gap in the fleet and everybody can make a lot of gains here. I'd really like to keep on using it."
