The Grand Kickoff of the Melges 15 Winter Series in Florida

As the sun sets on the old year, a new dawn is breaking, and what better way to welcome the year ahead than with the Melges 15 Winter Series in Jensen Beach, FL?

We are gearing up for a great regatta, marking not only the beginning of a new season but also the biggest RaceSense event ever run.

On January 6th, more than 90 Melges 15s will assemble on the same starting line in Jensen Beach, FL. Design by Reichel Pugh and manufactured by Melges, the Melges 15 places a strong emphasis on ease of use and performance—values that resonate deeply with us here at Vakaros. The Atlas 2 and the RaceSense technology stand out as game-changing innovations, redefining the standards for precision in race management. Accuracy, performance, and ease of use are our guiding principles.

What makes this event even more special, besides the incredible number of teams attending, is its designation as the first winter series of the year. As we step into the new year, we can't help but imagine what lies ahead in 2024. If the year is starting with a bang in Florida, with the grandeur of more than 90 Melges 15 lining up for the race of a lifetime, just imagine the rest of the season.

But how does it work? RaceSense will do the trick, as per usual, with the accuracy and the fairness you all know. Teams participating in the Melges 15 Winter Series who do not already have Vakaros units will be provided with demo units for the three-event series and the Vakaros team will be present on-site throughout the series, running debrief sessions utilizing data from the Atlas's data logging, offering valuable insights to the participating teams.
