Vakaros Winter Series: A Packed Season of Racing in Florida

We are thrilled to announce that we will be running RaceSense during the Winter Series racing for a number of classes, and it’s shaping up to be an incredibly busy and exciting couple of months down in Florida. From mid-November on, we’ll be supporting some of the most competitive fleets and prestigious events in sailing, providing a better and fairer racing experience to all participants.

We’re starting strong with the Melges 15 Winter Series, launching in mid-November. With hundreds of boats expected to enter, it’s set to be a great opening to the winter racing calendar. The Melges 15 class continues to grow in numbers and we’re proud to be part of these events at the new Melges Watersports Center.

Throughout the season, RaceSense will play a central role across multiple and diverse classes, including the legendary Star and Etchells fleets. These historical classes bring with them a rich legacy, and we’re proud to enhance their racing experience with the precision of RaceSense. On the cutting-edge side of things, the fast-paced M32 class returns for their Winter Series in Miami. As one of the first adopters of RaceSense in 2022, this fleet consistently delivers great performances on the water.

The winter action doesn’t stop there. The MC Scow Winter Series promises exciting racing at the Melges Watersport Center, further strengthening Florida’s position as the “place-to-be”, especially during the cold season.

From the second week of December, the Bacardi Winter Series will take place.    This series features three events, culminating in the famous Bacardi Invitational Regatta. Vakaros will work closely with the J/70 and Melges 24 classes throughout the series, and the VX One class during the Invitational, ensuring the best support for these fleets. 

Altogether, these Winter Series will encompass hundreds of racing days and thousands of participants across numerous classes and events. For Vakaros, it’s more than a busy season; it’s an opportunity to push boundaries, support incredible sailors, and celebrate the best of the sport we love.
